Poster & Essay Contest

Location: East Park Community Center

Residents are invited to participate in two creative contests featuring posters and essays with exciting themes and prizes for multiple age groups.

Theme 1: What Home Means to Me
Participants will create a poster or write an essay (100 words or less) explaining what "home" means to them.
Prizes will be awarded in three grade categories:
• Grades K-5
• Grades 6-8
• Grades 9-12

Theme 2: Playground Safety - Safety Makes a Splash (Underwater Adventure Theme)
Participants will create a poster or write an essay focused on playground safety using an underwater adventure theme. Essays must be 500 words or less.
Prizes will be awarded in three age categories:
• Ages 6-8
• Ages 9-11
• Ages 12-14

This is a great opportunity for youth to express their creativity while learning about important topics in our community.
