The Auburn Housing Authority has several upcoming activities planned for residents over the next few weeks. These events are designed to provide helpful information, encourage creativity, and bring neighbors together for fun community experiences.
Fire Safety and Prevention

Porter Community Center
Residents are invited to attend a Fire Safety and Prevention session focused on practical ways to keep your home and family safe. This workshop will cover basic fire prevention tips, what to do during a fire emergency, and steps residents can take to protect their households.
Bunny Hunt
Tuesday, March 31 at 4:00 PM
Drake Community at Stubb Avenue
Families are invited to join us for a fun community Bunny Hunt. Children will have the chance to search for hidden eggs and enjoy a springtime activity with neighbors. Be sure to bring your own basket to collect eggs during the hunt.
Marvelous Mondays

Marvelous Mondays is a special time for seniors ages 60 and older to come together, connect, and enjoy meaningful activities. Participants have the opportunity to build friendships, learn new life skills, share experiences, and enjoy time with others in a welcoming and supportive community setting.
Mentoring Moms

Join us for Mentoring Moms, a supportive and uplifting gathering where moms come together to share lunch, connect, and help one another navigate the challenges of motherhood. With caring hearts, listening ears, and a wealth of life experience, participants offer encouragement, guidance, and friendship to moms who could use a little extra support.
Budgeting Workshop

Join us for a budgeting workshop designed to help residents build practical money management skills. Participants will learn helpful strategies for creating a budget, managing expenses, and planning for financial goals.
Poster and Essay Contests
Tuesday, April 7 at 4:00 PM
East Park Community Center
Youth are invited to participate in our Poster and Essay Contests featuring two themes: What Home Means to Me and Playground Safety: Safety Makes a Splash. Prizes will be awarded in multiple age categories for both poster and essay submissions.
