AHA Awarded $9,000 Grant to Support Boykin Food Pantry

The Auburn Housing Authority is pleased to announce it has been awarded a $9,000 grant from United Way of Lee County to support the Boykin Community Center Food Pantry.

Operated through the Auburn Housing Authority's affiliate, the Auburn Community Development Corporation, the Food Pantry is made possible through a strong partnership with the East Alabama Food Bank and the City of Auburn. Together, these organizations work to provide free non-perishable food and household items to families in Auburn and the surrounding areas.

This funding will help strengthen the pantry's ability to meet the growing needs of the community and ensure continued access to essential resources for local families.

The Food Pantry is located at the Boykin Community Center, 400 Boykin Street, Auburn, AL 36830, and is open for walk-ins on Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
