Auburn Housing Authority continues to provide opportunities for residents of all ages through community programs, mentorship opportunities, senior activities, and food assistance services.
S.E.M.O.F. Academy Enrollment Opening Soon
Enrollment will soon open for S.E.M.O.F. Academy, a program designed to support personal and professional growth in a positive community environment. Residents may choose between a 6-week or 12-week program with weekly sessions held at Porter Community Center.
Topics include:
- Tenant Responsibility & Lease Compliance
- Financial Literacy & Budgeting
- Parenting & Youth Accountability
- Employment Readiness
- Mental Health & Personal Development
- Time Management
- Housekeeping Standards
- Being a Good Neighbor
Participants may also receive incentives including gift cards, cleaning kits, certificates, and tenant recognition awards.
Programs begin July 3 at 2:00 PM at the Porter Community Center.
Mentoring Moms
Mentoring Moms is a monthly mentorship program focused on parenting support, emotional wellness, leadership development, and self-sufficiency for mothers throughout AHA communities.
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 2:00 PM at Porter Community Center.
Food is provided by Campus Kitchen, and transportation is available for residents needing assistance.

Marvelous Monday for Seniors
Marvelous Monday is a monthly gathering for seniors ages 60+ to connect, build friendships, and participate in engaging activities designed to enrich their lives.
Meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 2:00 PM at Porter Community Center, located at 415 White Street in Auburn.

Boykin Community Center Food Pantry
The Boykin Food Pantry provides free non-perishable food and household items to Auburn and surrounding families.
Walk-in hours are:
- Tuesdays from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
- Thursdays from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Families are allowed two visits per month.
The pantry is located at 400 Boykin Street in Auburn.
