Back to School Block Party - Ridgecrest
Auburn ResidentsAuburn Housing Authority is excited to provide school supplies to residents ages 5 to 18. Residents can attend as many events as they desire but can only collect school supplies from events held at their home site.
- Monday, August 2nd, 11:00 am-12:30 pm at Ridgecrest-School Supplies give-away, Resource Fair, Games, and Pizza
- Tuesday, August 3rd, 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at East Park- School Supplies give-away, Games, and Cook-out. Food and Supplies sponsored by: Parkway Baptist Church
- Tuesday, August 3rd, 5:00 pm-9:00 pm at Sparkman-School Supplies give-away, Pizza and Movie Night - Jumanji 2: The Next Level. Movie sponsored by: Lee County Democratic Club.
- Wednesday, August 4th, 11:00 am-12:30 pm at Moton-School Supplies give-away, Resource Fair, Games, and Pizza
- Wednesday, August 4th, 11:00 am-12:30 pm at Drake-School Supplies give-away, Resource Fair, Games, and Pizza
Resource Fair will include: Be SMART Program, East Alabama Mental Health (EAMH), Family and Children's Services of EAMH, Southern Union Adult Education, Opelika Career Center, Unity Wellness, Christian Women Job Corp (CWJC), Lee County Democratic Club, Project Uplift, Lincoln Heritage Insurance, Southern Union ASCEND Program, Alabama Healthy Marriage & Relationship Education Project, AmeriCorps Seniors LRC, One Voice Shelter Coalition, Regions Bank, Southern Union's Pathway and GED program, Department of Human Resources (DHR), Lincoln Heritage Insurance, Child Care Resource Program, Auburn Opelika, HFH ReStore, Alabama Council on Human Relations, Inc.(ACHR), VIVA Insurance, and more!
