AUBURN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

The Board of Director's Regular Meeting

September 27, 2022

The Board of Directors of the Auburn Community Development Corporation ("ACDC") had its Regular Board meeting on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. The meeting was held at the Auburn Housing Authority located at 931 Booker Street, Auburn, AL 36832.


CALL TO ORDER

The Board of Director's Regular Meeting was called to order at 1:23 pm by Sharon Tolbert, President.

ROLL CALL

Present: Nolan Torbert, Robert Smith, Deborah Hand, Rene Waldrop, Marguerite White, and Sharon Tolbert
Others Present: Sandra Sanders (Staff)
Absent: None.
There was a quorum for the purpose of conducting business.


APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA

President Tolbert asked if there were any changes to the Agenda. There were no changes. President Tolbert asked for a motion to approve the Agenda. Director Smith moved that the Agenda be approved as received. Director White seconded said motion and all members voted aye. President Tolbert declared the Agenda approved.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

President Tolbert asked if there were any corrections to the July 26, 2022, Regular Meeting Minutes. There were no changes. President Tolbert asked for a motion to approve the Minutes. Director White moved that the Minutes be approved. Director Waldrop seconded said motion and all members voted aye. President Tolbert declared the Minutes approved.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

There were no public comments.

TREASURER'S REPORTS

A. CDBG CARES Finance Report
Secretary/Treasurer Torbert reviewed the August 2022 CDBG grant revenue, expenses, and available balance. The Board were provided detailed reports for each grant allocation.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

A. Food Pantry Update
Directors were provided the Food Pantry Update Report. President Tolbert reviewed the report. The August 2022 report reflected 159 visits and 6,104 pounds of food was distributed. It was also reported that the Auburn Housing Authority received the Best Practices Award during the 2022 AAHRA Conference for operating the Food Pantry. It was reported that onsite Farmer's Markets were offered at Auburn, LaFayette, and Roanoke Housing Authorities in July 2022, 208 families were served. Holiday events are pending.

A. Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held on October 25, 2022.

There was no other business.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, President Tolbert asked for a motion to adjourn. Director Smith moved that the meeting be adjourned; Director Waldrop seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 1:31 pm.
