The Board of Director's Regular Meeting

January 31, 2023

The Board of Directors of the Auburn Community Development Corporation ("ACDC") had its Regular Board meeting on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. The meeting was held at the Auburn Housing
Authority located at 931 Booker Street, Auburn, AL 36832


CALL TO ORDER

The Board of Director's Regular Meeting was called to order at 1:06 pm by Sharon Tolbert, President.

ROLL CALL

Present: Deborah Hand, Marguerite White, Nolan Torbert, Robert Smith, and Sharon Tolbert

Others Present: Sandra Sanders (Staff)
Absent: Rene Waldrop
There was a quorum for the purpose of conducting business.

APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA

President Tolbert asked if there were any changes to the Agenda. There were no changes. President Tolbert asked for a motion to approve the Agenda. Director Smith moved that the Agenda be approved as received. Director White seconded said motion and all members voted aye. President Tolbert declared the Agenda approved.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

President Tolbert asked if there were any corrections to the November 29, 2022, Regular Meeting Minutes. There were no changes. President Tolbert asked for a motion to approve the Minutes. Director White moved that the Minutes be approved. Director Hand seconded said motion and all members voted aye. President Tolbert declared the Minutes approved.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

There were no public comments.

TREASURER'S REPORTS

A. CDBG CARES Finance Report
Secretary/Treasurer Torbert reviewed the December 2022 CDBG grant revenue, expenses, and available balance. The Board was provided detailed reports for each grant allocation.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

A. Food Pantry Update
Directors were provided with a copy of the Food Pantry Update Report. President Tolbert reviewed the report. The December 2022 report reflected 136 visits and 5,493 pounds of food was distributed.

307 families were served during the Thanksgiving onsite Farmer's Market and 274 families were served during the Christmas onsite Farmer's Market. President Tolbert thanked Commissioners that volunteered, and staff was commended for their hard work.

NEW BUSINESS

A. Affordable Housing
There was no affordable housing report.

B. Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held on February 28, 2023.

OTHER BUSINESS

There was no other business.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, President Tolbert asked for a motion to adjourn. Director Smith moved that the meeting be adjourned; Director White seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 1:10 pm.
